1. Sports Card Investor

Sports Card Investor is a YouTube channel about the sports card market. Its channel tagline is "Invest in what you love." When we checked, the channel listed 474K subscribers and about 2,200 videos, and recent uploads included a top five hottest sports cards rundown and a video asking card dealers how they would invest $1,000.

Market Movers, the card pricing and collection tracking platform tied to the channel, says it was founded in 2020 by Geoff Wilson. Sports Card Investor also runs an email newsletter.

2. Topps

Topps is the card maker's own channel, with 232K subscribers when we checked and recent videos on collectors and their collections. Topps is owned by Fanatics and holds the exclusive MLB, NBA and NFL trading card licenses, so it is the first-hand source for news on licensed products.

On topps.com, the homepage was promoting Topps Now cards and a pre-order for 2026-27 Topps Flagship Basketball. For dates across every sport, see our 2026 sports card release calendar.

3. Cardboard Connection

Cardboard Connection describes itself as "the Leading Independent Authority on Sports Card, Trading Card, Memorabilia & Collectible Info." It is a website first: its homepage was listing set reviews and checklists for 2026 products when we checked, while its YouTube channel had only two videos.

Use it when you need a checklist, a parallel list or a release date for a specific set.

What Changed Since Our 2022 List

This post originally listed five names. Two of them are not what they were in December 2022.

  • Sports Card Radio: the YouTube channel is still up with 29.5K subscribers and about 850 videos, but its newest uploads were labeled one year old when we checked. Its website is still online.
  • Beckett: the Beckett Collectibles channel posted a video titled "A New Era for Beckett: What's Changed and What's Next" about four months before we checked. On October 6, 2026, beckett.com was redirecting to a maintenance notice. The notice says Beckett.com and the mobile app are temporarily offline, Base and Standard card grading submissions are paused, and Express submissions are open through a temporary form.
