Key Takeaways

  • A 6 foot table is 72 inches long and an 8 foot table is 96 inches long. Safco lists its 6 foot and 8 foot Event Series rectangular folding tables at 30 inches deep and 29 inches high.
  • The three card show organizers we checked list 6 foot or 8 foot vendor tables, so confirm your table length before you order a banner.
  • Our Custom Vinyl Banner comes in three horizontal sizes (48 x 24, 72 x 24 and 72 x 36 inches) and the same three sizes turned vertical.
  • A 72 x 24 inch banner runs the full length of a 6 foot table. On a 29 inch high table, a 24 inch tall banner fits on the front, and a 36 inch tall banner is 7 inches taller than the table.
  • Check each show's display rules. Next Level Card Show's vendor handbook says banners must remain within your assigned booth space.

The right table banner size depends on the table: pick a banner no longer than the table, and no taller than the table if it hangs on the front. A 6 foot table is 72 inches long, so a 72 x 24 inch banner runs the full front and a 48 x 24 inch banner covers two thirds of it. Below we match our banner sizes to the 6 foot and 8 foot tables that the card show organizers we checked list.

How Big Is a 6 Foot or 8 Foot Table?

A foot is 12 inches, so a 6 foot table is 72 inches long and an 8 foot table is 96 inches long. Depth and height depend on the table. As a reference point, Safco lists these numbers for its 6 foot and 8 foot Event Series rectangular folding tables:

Safco table Length Depth Height
Event Series 30 x 72 inch (6 foot) 72 inches 30 inches 29 inches
Event Series 30 x 96 inch (8 foot) 96 inches 30 inches 29 inches

Not every venue uses the same tables. Next Level Card Show's vendor page says its 6-foot tables range from about 30 to 36 inches wide, which is the front to back measurement, and N.E.W. Card Show lists premium tables that are 40 inches wide. If you can, measure the table or ask the organizer.

What Size Tables Do Card Shows Give Vendors?

It depends on the show. We checked three organizers' vendor pages on October 13, 2026:

  • Next Level Card Show (Las Vegas). The vendor handbook says vendor tables are available in 6-foot and 8-foot sizes, and all tables include a black tablecloth.
  • N.E.W. Card Show (Denmark, Wisconsin). Base tables measure 8 feet by 30 inches wide. Premium tables measure 8 feet by 40 inches wide.
  • Pittsburgh Card Show. The dealer page prices some events per 6-foot table and others per 8-foot table.

So one banner will not fit every booking the same way. Check the table length for each show before you order. Planning a bigger trip? See our list of the top sports card shows in the United States.

Our Custom Vinyl Banner comes in three horizontal sizes. Here is how each one lines up with the two table lengths. The coverage numbers are our own math.

Banner (width x height) In feet On a 6 foot table On an 8 foot table
48 x 24 inches 4 x 2 feet Covers 48 of 72 inches, or two thirds of the length Covers 48 of 96 inches, or half of the length
72 x 24 inches 6 x 2 feet Covers the full 72 inches Covers 72 of 96 inches, or three quarters of the length
72 x 36 inches 6 x 3 feet Matches the length, but stands 7 inches taller than a 29 inch high table Covers three quarters of the length and stands 7 inches taller than a 29 inch high table

Three things stand out:

  • The 72 x 24 inch banner matches a 6 foot table end to end.
  • We do not list a banner longer than 72 inches. Centered on an 8 foot table, a 72 inch banner leaves 12 inches open on each side.
  • Height decides where the banner goes. Hung from the top edge of a 29 inch high table, a 24 inch tall banner ends 5 inches above the floor. A 36 inch tall banner is 7 inches taller than the table.

Should the Banner Go on the Front of the Table or Behind It?

Front of the table. The two 24 inch tall sizes are the ones that fit the front of a 29 inch high table. We like a front banner for telling people in the aisle whose table it is.

Behind the table. The 72 x 36 inch banner and the three vertical sizes (24 x 48, 24 x 72 and 36 x 72 inches) are all taller than a 29 inch high table, so plan to hang them behind you. Plan on a wall, a stand or another support to hang them from. The banner listing notes that hanging strings are not included, so bring your own ties or hooks.

Check the show rules first. Next Level Card Show's handbook says displays, shelving, banners, showcases and merchandise must remain within your assigned booth space and must not obstruct aisles or walkways. N.E.W. Card Show tells vendors to keep displays within their space and out of the aisles. Other shows may have their own rules, so ask the organizer before you hang anything on a wall or off the front of a table.

What Is Our Custom Vinyl Banner Made Of?

The listing describes a custom vinyl banner printed with your logo or design, made for card shops and card breakers. The specs:

  • Material: Titan 10 oz scrim vinyl
  • Edges: heat-welded hems
  • Hanging: grommets (hanging strings not included)
  • Use: indoor and outdoor

Ordering takes four steps: choose a size and orientation, upload your logo, enter a background color and add any other design requests. As of October 13, 2026, the listing shows a price of $49.99 and says larger sizes cost more, so check the size picker for the price of the size you want. Every custom banner is made to order, and the listing says custom products can't be returned.

What Else Can Brand a Card Show Table?

A banner covers the front or the back of the booth. These cover the tabletop and the person behind it:

  • Custom Card Stand: printed with your logo on one side. It is a two-piece stand that slots together and comes apart for travel.
  • Custom Sports Card Break Mats: 4 mm thick neoprene with an anti-slip backing, printed with your logo. The Large mat is 16 inches tall and 32 inches wide, which leaves 14 inches of depth on a 30 inch deep table.
  • Custom T-Shirts: printed with your logo or design, in sizes S to 3XL.

Table Banner Size FAQs

What size should a table banner be?
Match the banner to the table. A 6 foot table is 72 inches long, so a 72 x 24 inch banner runs the full front and a 48 x 24 inch banner covers two thirds of it. A banner that hangs on the front should also be shorter than the table is high, and Safco lists its 6 foot and 8 foot Event Series rectangular folding tables at 29 inches high.
What are the dimensions of a 6ft table banner?
A 6 foot table is 72 inches long, so a banner that runs the full front is 72 inches wide. The 24 inch tall size we list at that width is 72 x 24 inches, which is 6 feet by 2 feet.
How big is a 2x6 banner?
A 2 x 6 foot banner is 24 inches by 72 inches. Hung horizontally, it is as long as a 6 foot table and covers three quarters of the length of an 8 foot table.
How many inches is a 6 foot table?
A 6 foot table is 72 inches long. Safco lists its 30 x 72 inch Event Series folding table at 30 inches deep and 29 inches high.
What are grommets on a banner?
One Merriam-Webster definition of a grommet is an eyelet of firm material to strengthen or protect an opening or to insulate or protect something passed through it. Our Custom Vinyl Banner listing gives grommets as the way the banner hangs and notes that hanging strings are not included.
